Day 19

Holy

I know that I am not perfect, and I never will be here on Earth. I also know that I am in Christ, and He is in me. This means that as I grow closer to Him, I understand who He has transformed to to be. He has made me new. He has made Holy.

He promises me that I will be complete when I arrive into the gates of Heaven. It’s a wonder that I can even enter into those glorious gates! Holiness changes my identity because it is constantly refining me into Christ’s image. Christ is holy, and since he is in me; I am holy!

LISTEN

I took my time when I created you. You were not rushed, but a masterpiece in the making. This is also true for your life on Earth; I will not leave you alone. I will constantly help refine you into my image. You will arrive home someday, and you will be perfectly complete when you stand before me. Your holiness is complete when you are complete in my image. I eagerly await this day when you come home to me —forever!

READ

Colossians 1:26-29 ESV: This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it's out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just the Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God's glory. It''s that simple. That is the substance of our Message. We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the message.

Matthew 5:16 ESV: “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Psalm 139:14 ESV: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

Philippians 1:6 ESV: “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

REFLECT

Reflect on your completeness in Christ.

Why can we trust God when He calls us holy?

What does holy mean to you?

How will our holiness change when we get to Heaven?

Who are you in Christ? HOLY
